Nubia Concepcion serves as the Research Director at Quality Research of South Florida, bringing more than 24 years of clinical research experience and a deep commitment to advancing healthcare within her community. After spending over 12 years working with established research organizations, she developed a passion for expanding access to clinical research opportunities and improving patient outcomes through innovative studies.
As the leader of the organization, Ms. Concepcion is responsible for overseeing site operations, study execution, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. She is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor, ethical conduct, and participant safety throughout all phases of clinical research.
Ms. Concepcion plays a key role in the growth and success of the research center by fostering strategic relationships with physicians, sponsors, and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). She actively supports the development of new investigators by providing comprehensive onsite training, including instruction in clinical research procedures and study-related techniques.

As both a Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator, Dr. Gutierrez has developed a diverse clinical research background, demonstrating a proven ability to lead and support clinical trials across various therapeutic areas. Dr. Gutierrez’s research experience includes participation in neurology-focused clinical studies, supported by advanced diagnostic expertise in the interpretation of central nervous system (CNS) imaging and neurophysiological testing, including CT scans, MRI studies, electroencephalograms (EEGs), and nerve conduction studies/electromyography (NCS/EMG). His comprehensive understanding of neurological disorders provides valuable clinical insight throughout the research process.
In addition to his diagnostic expertise, Dr. Gutierrez possesses extensive procedural experience, including performing lumbar punctures and other specialized neurological procedures that support both clinical care and research initiatives.
